BJP Vice President of the Wadala Vidhansabha, Kaushik Kanadhia, has kickstarted a campaign on Tuesday inviting slogans from Mumbaikars for the Historic Demonetisation move taken by the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi ji.
Speaking with BMCElections.com, Kaushik Kanadhia said, “On the night of 8th November 2016, our PM had announced the demonetisation of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes with immediate effect which would thereby help eliminate black money, fake currency and terror funding. So in effect, India woke up to a new morning on 9th November.”
“Since, this move from the Prime Minister of India is For the People and For our Future, it would be only fair to coin a term/slogan or a caption from the People of India themselves through this contest,” he added.
The unique hashtag of this contest is #EkSochNayeBharatkiKhoj. Kaushik said that, “The thought process behind this hashtag has been that this thought of the PM has led to a New India. I want every person to relate this move through this hashtag.”
As part of this slogan/caption contest, people are invited to submit their entries via twitter on the topic, “What does Demonetisation mean to you?”. The winning entries will be felicitated in a public function and will even win exciting prizes.
Details of the contest and terms and conditions are mentioned on their campaign website, www.eksoch.in
Kaushik Kanadhia says, “I am of the view the more and more people should participate in this contest and express their views on Demonetisation. We never know, if a slogan is really good, it can be coined on a larger scale as well.”
Last date for entries for this contest is December 15, 2016.
