With the BMC Elections just about 4 months away, no party is leaving any stone unturned or any opportunity amissed to lash out against the other. It was the turn of Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray on Wednesday, when he hit out at the opposition at an event here in Mumbai.

The Sena supremo was present in Dadar to inaugurate the new building of the Fire Brigade. He said that the opposition has been criticising the functioning of the MCGM, but the Sena-led civic body has provided the best facilities to the people of Mumbai.

“Some unfortunate people are unable to see the good work that MCGM has done in Mumbai. It is their misfortune, not ours. The MCGM is providing citizens with all the facilities from health, water and education; however, some of them are not appreciating the work of the civic officers, but passing comments regarding the work not done by the officers,” Thackeray said.

The leaders from Shiv Sena’s alliance partner, the Bhartiya Janata Party, were missing from this event.
