On Thursday, Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar said he would review the records to see if the phrase "one should feel humiliated" was improper. Aaditya Thackeray, a Shiv Sena MLA, remarked, "One should be ashamed" of the fate of tribal people even after 75 years of Independence and the country having a tribal President, in reference to hunger and issues experienced by tribal people in the state.

Sudhir Mungantiwar, the Minister of the Environment, complained to the word, and Narvekar responded by noting the objection and promising to investigate the records to determine whether it was improper. In support of his claim, Narvekar cited Item 357 on the list of phrases and expressions deemed to be improper in some way.

In addition, Mungantiwar questioned Thackeray on if he wanted his father Uddhav Thackeray, who served as chief minister from November 2019 to June 2022, to be ashamed given that the statistics presented in the House only covered the previous three years.
Aaditya Thackeray responded by saying he wanted everyone to feel humiliated that the situation of tribal people had not improved and he urged politicians to put more effort into it.
