Shiv Sena forms a human chain to demand rollback in petrol prices
As there has been a rise in petroleum products the Shiv Sena directed a protest demonstration against the Centre. A human chain was formed by the members of the Shiv Sena party near the Bus Stand and conveyed their anger over the matter of an increase in petroleum products. A memorandum was submitted by them later to the Collectorate addressing Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 
In the memorandum submitted they asked the Prime Minister to minimize the prices of petrol, diesel and cooking gas.
 
The protest which took by the Shiv Sena was launched under the leadership of District President Santosh Pandey. Many allegations were being made by the protestors to the Centre stating that the government has not been able to control the rising prices of petroleum products, with an increase in inflation and double attack is being faced by the common man.  
 
Further, the allegations stated that due to the ongoing situation of Corona all over the country many people have lost their jobs with a decrease in employment opportunities owing to all these facts the centre has done nothing to initiate any concrete steps. A warning has also been issued by the Shiv Sena that as a result of no rollback in the prices the party will be launching a massive protest demonstration. Meanwhile, the protestors included General Secretary Jawahar Singh, Shivram Kesharwani, Akash Singh, Shashikant Prasad and other Shiv Sainiks.
