The decision of resuming local train services in Mumbai is likely in 2-3 days as Aaditya Thackeray hints

As the demand for resuming local train services for the general public grows up, Maharashtra Minister Aaditya Thackeray indicated that soon the state government would permit those people who have taken both the doses of the Covid 19 vaccine to travel in the local trains in the upcoming days. The Cabinet Minister Aaditya Thackeray conveyed his concern for the people’s lives stating that the cases in many other countries have been rising even when they have done the vaccination to a large extent.  

 

“It is very important for us as the government in the state to keep people safe in these unprecedented times, and yes the decisions are being taken by the government to resume the local train services for those who have been vaccinated with both the doses of the Covid 19 vaccine and these relaxations will not just be given on the train services but also in other activities,” stated the Minister Aaditya Thackeray.

 

As the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is protesting for resuming the local train services Aaditya Thackeray reacted that the opposition party should not play politics and should act responsibly. “There is no issue in protests but the opposition parties need to understand that they will have to act responsibly at this point of time as more focus should be put on saving the lives of our people,” stated Minister Aaditya Thackeray. 

 

While protesting the Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrakant Patil stated, “Already the condition of the people having low income has worsened due to the pandemic, if they have been vaccinated totally why are they not being allowed to travel in the local train, they should be allowed.” Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray also declared that soon the government will be deciding on resuming local train services for all.
