Sanjay Raut: Case should be filed against Centre for lying about no deaths due to oxygen shortage
After the statement made by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) that no deaths were noticed because of lack of oxygen during the second wave of Covid 19 the senior Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on Wednesday attacked the party for the false claim. “I have no words. After listening to this what would be the condition of the people and the families who have lost their loved ones just because oxygen was scarce?” stated Sanjay Raut.

He further added that “A Case should be filed against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for giving such false statements.” On Tuesday, the Union Minister of State (MoS) for Health Dr. Bharati Pravin Pawar in Rajya Sabha stated that there were no deaths  reported because of the scarcity of oxygen by any states or union territories at the time of the second wave of the Covid 19 pandemic in the country.

“Surely there was a shortage of oxygen but with that, there was a severe shortage of sensitivity and truthfulness,” stated Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Blames were made by the Congress party on Pawar for misleading the House and stated that a privilege motion will be moved against her.  Amid this, the Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut asked the ruling government BJP to come out with the truth of the snooping of the cell phones of ministers, journalists, etc.
