Congress Leaders to Sharad Pawar: Nana Patole's Statements will not be repeated
On Wednesday, the Congress leader had a meeting with the National Congress Party (NCP) Chief Sharad Pawar amid the current situation going on in the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government. The reason the meeting took place by the Congress leader was to promise that the statements Nana Patole recently gave which made all the leaders angry, would not be repeated. As Nana Patole’s statement stated about his party’s growing influence in Maharashtra, the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) leaders became angry, informed the NCP sources.

Senior Congress leader Ashok Chouhan with party in charge HK Patil and Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat met the National Congress Party Chief Sharad Pawar at silver oak his residence. “The statement by Nana Patole which made the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) angry has been apologized for and has also promised to Pawar Sahab that such controversial statements will not be made again” stated the NCP sources.

As there was already a rift going on in the ruling alliance, Patole said “Congress is growing in the state of Maharashtra like never before and it will soon become the top party just because of this reason many are displeased. My cell phone is also being tapped by the Government of Maharashtra and they are stabbing the Congress party in the back.”

Later on the former Maharashtra Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Ashok Chouhan and party in charge HK Patil assured that there was no rift going on in the MVA government, it was stable and the statement given by the Congress chief had been taken out of context.
