Soon after the Nationalist Congress Leader (NCP) Nawab Malik alleged allegations on the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officer Sameer Wankhede, a press release was issued by the officer against the leader, stating his statements as defamatory and invasion of his privacy. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officer Sameer Wankhede is probing into the matter of a recent cruise drugs seizure case where the accused is Actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan.

Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Nawab Malik took on Twitter and posted a picture of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officer Nawab Malik’s birth certificate suggesting that the zonal director has used fake documents.
“I belong to such a family which is composite, multi-religious and secular and I am proud of it, as this context is being taken out so I would like to express that my father a retired Senior Police Inspector of State Exercise Department, Pune is Hindu and my mother Zaheeda was a Muslim,” stated Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officer Sameer Wankhede.
He further alleged the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Nawab Malik of defaming him by posting his documents and also interfering in his privacy, he also stated that it is aimed at him, his family, father and mother. “In the past few days, the honourable Nationalist Congress Minister Nawab Malik has slammed us completely which has now put our families under huge mental and emotional pressure, it has hurt me as it has caused defamatory allegations against me without any justification,” stated Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officer Sameer Wankhede.
Further, the officer also approached the Court over allegations of extortion against him, which he refused to and stated that the case is being conducted honestly and impartially.
