Sanjay Raut: Snooping risks, India’s Freedom in Mumbai
The Union Government and Administration were described as weak by the Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut and he also asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah to explain the reason behind the alleged snooping through Israeli spyware Pegasus at the politicians and journalists.

He further said that before tapping the cell phones of prominent figures in the country a strong motive should be present there.
“If a foreign country is Snooping that means that the freedom of the country is a huge risk. I also had a discussion on this issue with Opposition Malilkarjun Kharge and he told me that he will be raising this case in the Parliament at the time of the ongoing monsoon session.”

He stated that a cell phone was tapped in Maharashtra also while the government was being set up and the case is being examined.
“In this case, a foreign country is involved in tapping the cell phones of people of our country. And the cell phones are being tapped particularly by the editors, journalists, and politicians too which is a very severe case. Surely a big motive will be behind this tapping of cell phones by the foreign countries and it would surely risk the freedom of our country” he stated.
