Shivsena-Congress-NCP in for an alliance for Maharashtra Assembly?

If sources are to be believed, then the present Devendra Fadnavis Government in the Maharashtra State Assembly is set to fall down, with a new alliance in picture with Shiv Sena playing the bigger daddy alongwith Congress and NCP.

If such an alliance does take place, they do get the numbers required for a majority and then Shiv Sena will be all set to put in their chief minister nominee.

Post the BMC Election Results, there are reports that Shiv Sena leaders approached the state Congress leadership to explore the chances of working together. The Sena is 30 short of a majority in the BMC and the Congress has 31 corporators.

Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray’s remarks that the next mayor of Mumbai as well as the next chief minister will be from his party have added to suspicions that he was exploring options to pull down the Devendra Fadnavis government and form a new one with NCP and Congress support.

We have learnt from unconfirmed sources that senior leaders of the Shiv Sena, Congress and NCP have, in principal, agreed to forge an alliance at the state level so as to dethrone the present Devendra Fadnavis led BJP Government, by 8th of March, 2017.

What happens next? Will there be a Shiv Sena chief minister? Will the BJP government be toppled? All this will be clear within this week.
