The media is well aware of this, so I would not like to intrude in your enclave.”

The Deputy Chief Minister further accused former Finance Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Mungantiwar and stated, “Mungantiwar served his party and was minister for five years. If one is not ruling anymore, they change the cassette and start speaking differently. The state government cannot stamp money. For all the development projects, recruitments and services we are dependent on taxes.”

He further stated that the agency is quite sure about the airport work completion till 2024 and it's their target for flight operations. “The airport project has now been taken by the Adani group from the GVK. The Adani group is the biggest in the country. This will help the project to not withstand any type of financial constraints,” he stated.

When asked about the ongoing issue over the name change of the airport, he replied that soon a solution to this issue will be taken out. The Cidco was also questioned on various issues by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar “The present government needs to protect the environment. As the open space has once gone will never come back.
