The BMC has served a notice on BJP politician Mohit Kamboj, stating that civic officials might inspect his home for unlawful changes at any time after March 23. Kamboj owns four storeys in the Khushi Pride Belmondo Building in Santacruz West, according to the BMC.

The notice was issued under section 488 of the BMC Act, which gives inspectors the authority to inspect any structure and determine whether any illegal alterations have been made. H-Ward Assistant Municipal Commissioner Vinayak Vispute confirmed the notice's issue and stated that the BMC expects Kamboj to cooperate with its officials during their visit.

"We (the BJP) have exposed Nawab Malik and Sanjay Raut in various scandals," Kamboj remarked. Instead of calling for Nawab Malik's resignation, the Chief Minister is engaging in vengeful politics." He stated that if nothing is uncovered in the Economic Offenses Wing's investigation, they (the ruling parties) will come to demolish their homes.

"We will not be intimidated by such acts; we will not submit in the face of such action."  We shall not give up our fight against the ruling parties. We will go to court if we believe action has not been conducted correctly. He stated, "We have faith in the judges."
