Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) to Raise Maratha Quota issue in the Parliament, with PM Modi
As the monsoon session is going on the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government has started raising the issue to secure the Maratha reservation and are looking to follow it up with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.  An adjournment motion was moved by the Shiv Sena MP Vinayak Raut in the Lok Sabha to conduct a debate on the Maratha quota matter. Sanjay Raut stated that soon an appointment will be taking place with Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the discussion with Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray to talk about the issues.

“An appointment will soon be conducted with Prime Minister Narendra Modi most probably next week to discuss up on Maratha quota and also many other matters that have already been raised by the Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray,” stated Sanjay Raut. A meeting took place between Ashok Chavan who is the chairperson of the state cabinet sub-committee on Maratha reservation with Mallikarjun Kharge the Congress, leader of opposition in the Rajya Sabha urging him to take the Maratha matter in the parliament.

After the Junior Minister Raosaheb Danve commented that the Shiv Sena should once look and study the whole issue of Maratha, Sanjay Raut stated “If the whole matter can be solved with the help of his coaching, I am ready to take it from him. But there is no need of taking coaching from him. They should have the daring to give quota in government jobs and education for Marathas first before they start teaching us.”
