Kalaben Delkar, Wife of Late Mohan Delkar to join Sena.

Ahead of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation polls scheduled in Jan 2022, late MP Mohan Delkar's wife has decided to join the Shiv Sena. Mohan who handled Haveli and Nagar had allegedly committed suicide earlier this year. His wife Kalaben announced the move on Thursday.
She was joined by her son Abhinav Delkar in front of the Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in an event held in Mumbai. The by-elections for Dadra Nagar Haveli had to be held again due to the sudden demise of Mohan Delkar. Kalaben will be contesting as Shiv Sena’s candidate for the same.
The announcement was made by the Election Commission for Dadra and Haveli's parliamentary position. The seat is a part of the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. The election will be held on October 30th.
