BMC Elections 2022
Ahead of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections 2022, Gopichand Padalkar, a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and a member of the Legislative Council, has levelled severe allegations against the Mahavikas Aghadi Government's State Health Department and its Minister. Padalkar allegedly referred to the Maharashtra government as a recovery agency in a media statement released on Friday.

Padalkar claims that the Health Department appoints officers of their choosing to offer recruitment test contracts to companies on the blacklist. He went on to say that the Health Minister's conduct has now been proven during the disclosure of a recruitment scam in the Health Department. The Mantralaya has been informed about the scam that is threatening the careers of students and candidates. The Health Minister's area, according to the report, has been linked to the paper leak.

A BJP leader wondered if the state administration was shielding the con artist. The public should know what the connection is between the Health Minister and the con artist. He has urged that a judicial investigation into the alleged swindle be initiated, with the participation of the Health Minister. Meanwhile, Padalkar has stated that if the State Government refuses to cooperate with the investigation, the matter will be taken to the CBI.
