Naresh Mhaske, a former Mayor of Thane City, criticised Aditya Thackeray for meeting with Tejashwi Yadav, the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar. The visit is intended to persuade him to secure the votes of the Bihari community in the upcoming elections for the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC), the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), and other civic bodies, according to Thane city spokesperson Mhaske of the Shiv-Sena faction of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

During a press conference, Naresh Mhaske said: "After Eknath Shinde's uprising, Aditya Thackeray, the son of Uddhav Thackeray, has been wandering the state to keep Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv-Sena faction from disintegrating. He met Tejashwi Yadav, the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, on Wednesday. Due to the significant population of North Indians, particularly Biharis, in Mumbai, the younger Thackeray visited Bihar. To secure the support of the Bihar communities, he campaigned throughout the state."

"Although Tejashwi Yadav's father Lalu Prasad Yadav always opposed Shiv-Sena and Balasaheb Thackeray's philosophy, these individuals now feel a deep bond with Tejashwi Yadav. Tejashwi Yadav should have come to meet Aditya Thackeray in reality, but it's the other way around. Eknath Shinde, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, received criticism from the opposition when he travelled to Delhi to meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Now that their time has come, Aditya Thackeray will meet with Tejashwi Yadav" he added.

Aditya Thackeray's visit to Bihar, Mhaske mockingly remarked, "would be to open a penguin park in Bihar." While there, Aditya Thackeray met with Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar, and Tejashwi Yadav, the Deputy Chief Minister, for a one-day visit on November 23. They discussed a variety of topics. Shiv-Sena spokesperson Chintamani Karkhanis, who hails from Thane, said, "To support the party in other regions of Maharashtra, Aditya Thackeray travelled to Bihar to meet with the state's Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Aditya Thackeray engaged in a robust and productive conversation on a range of topics. Those who were elevated to their current status by Shiv-Sena will now criticise anything."
