Following the Shiv Sena's takeover of the party office at the Civic Body under Eknath Shinde, commotion in BMC

The Shiv Sena, led by Eknath Shinde, gained control of the BMC party headquarters on Tuesday. The post was taken over by MP Rahul Shewale and former standing committee member Yashwant Jadhav. Rahul Shewale, Yashwant Jadhav, and Sheetal Mhatre of the Shinde-led camp entered the office and seized control of the civic body office previously held by the Uddhav-led Shiv Sena, causing a major uproar.
 
On the first day of the winter session, MLAs of the faction led by Uddhav Thackeray were given another office, a Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) faction leader said. The allocation of the office, which Shiv Sena has occupied for three decades, resulted in a verbal battle between Shiv Sena employees from both groups.
Employees of the Eknath Shinde group removed the portraits of Uddhav Thackeray and his son Aaditya Thackeray from the office and replaced them with the late Anand Dighe, Shinde's political mentor.
 
According to a spokesman of the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) camp, workers supporting the Shinde-led group were ordered to leave and go to the new office, along with two ladies. Existing employees at the office experienced some breakdowns. Ravindra Waikar, a leader of the Shiv Sena (UBT) and a Mumbai legislator, "For the past 30 years, these workers have handled all of the Shiv Sena's legislative tasks, including those of Eknath Shinde. CM Shinde has now escorted them out ".
