Fadnavis will lead BJP in BMC poll 2022

Opposition leader and former chief minister Devendra Fadnavis will lead the BJP in the BMC elections, party Mumbai unit president Mangalprabhat Lodha has said.The Mumbai unit convened an online executive committee meeting on Thursday evening, where the resolution was passed. Addressing the gathering, Kandivali MLA Atul Bhatkalkar lauded Fadnavis and said,
"The manner in which the Fadnavis government was exposed for corruption and its failures during the recent budget session is commendable." Lodha introduced his resolution to fight against the 2022 municipal elections. Leadership.
Fadnavis also led the party as chief minister in the 2017 BMC elections. Despite its alliance with the Shiv Sena in the state, the dispute over seat-sharing has prompted the two parties to contest the BMC elections separately.
