In conversation with an Enforcement Directorate (ED) official he stated that the former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh was arrested after 12 hours of questioning on Monday at central agency offices. The official further stated that Deshmukh was trying to avoid the actual questions raised by the central agency. The official confirmed that the agency looks forward to his custody after the former home minister is presented before a local court.
“Soon the leader will be presented before the local court, we will oppose his remand, without anything being involved, we had cooperated in the probe which was related to a case involving 4.5 crores,” stated lawyer of Former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh.
