Dussehra Rally: Shiv Sena Attacks BJP ahead of the BMC elections
In a recent attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections 2022, the ruling Shiv Sena’s Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray stated that Hindutva was under threat from the ones who want it for the sake of power.

“Hindutva at present time is under threat, from those who today are with power in their hands and the reason being Hindutva. They now are going to use the strategy of the Britishers which was divide and rule, now they are trying to make difference in society. For being on the safer side we need to be aware of their motives,” stated Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in the Dussehra rally lead by Shiv Sena, where he also played bugle for the upcoming Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections 2022

He further alleged that the state of Maharashtra was being aimed by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from the time the Shiv Sena was no more allies with them. “The State of Maharashtra is being looked upon by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government. Shiv Sena is being targeted all the time, why not places, where rape cases are growing like nothing, are not being looked upon considering the state of Uttar Pradesh, why aren’t they being criticized? If they have named the Mumbai police as Mafia then what name should be given to Uttar Pradesh police?” alleged Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. He also focused on having an honest discussion about federalism and the rights a state is given in the country.

“This was stated by Dr. Ambedkar that just like the centre, the states too should be given the sovereign rights, he also stated it clearly that if the centre comes in the middle of the States affairs, it would be the violation of the constitution,” Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray stated further.
