Contractor insulated by Shivsena MLA not ready to give a statement says Mumbai police

On Sunday, a shocking video of Shiv Sena MLA Dilip Lande was floating on the internet, where he is humiliating a contractor. The incident happened in the Chandivali area. The video shows that the MLA and his men are forcing the contractor to sit on a garbage pile and then putting garbage on his head. Mumbai police said that they are looking into the matter.
Mumbai police sources said, “The complete matter has been investigated. We are willing to file an FIR, but there is no complaint registered by the contractor yet. We have asked him for the statement, but he is not ready to do it. The action will be taken after the statement is recorded.”
MLA Dilip Lande claimed that the contractor was responsible for the garbage disposal work, but he didn’t complete it. He was ignoring the calls and messages. According to Lande, finally, he decided to clean the garbage himself as it was resulting in Waterlogging. Ironically, on the other hand, Shivsena ruled BMC and the Mayor have already said that 103% of garbage disposal work has been already done in the city.
