Responding to the letter, Chief Minister stated, “The relationship, Nitin Ji you carry with us is a little different. We both are dutiful. We have learned the teachings of Shiv Sena Chief stating that one should never break faith with people. We don’t want that the work that is being carried out for the people to be hindered, I promise you that further, I will not permit anyone to interfere in the development work that is being carried out.”
 
The letter written by Union Minister stated that the Shiv Sena workers and office-bearers were creating hindrance and also warning the corporator working in the national highways in the state of Maharashtra. "If this continues, should we continue the work? Your department should decide on this soon,” stated Union Minister of Road, Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari in his letter.
