BMC elections 2022: India’s biggest scam in 25 years in BMC alleges BJP

Ahead of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections 2022, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has slammed the Shiv Sena ruled Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) over a matter of corruption of more than 3 lakh crore in the past 25 years. 

 

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections 2022, beforehand announced its Mission 2022 to conquer the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections 2022. Alleging the Shiv Sena government the Bharatiya Janata Party has termed this corruption as the biggest scam in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) from the Independence era, stating that this scam was way bigger than 2G, 3G scam and also Common Wealth Games scams. 

 

“The aim of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is to fight for Mumbaikars with them to take up the development in the city of Mumbai in Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) area and return the city’s glory which it used to have once,” stated a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) official. 

 

Further adding the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) stated that this was not for power or to win the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections 2022, but to fight for justice of the Mumbaikars. But with this allegation the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has to be extra cautious while slamming its opposition Shiv Sena in the city of Mumbai as for most of these 25 years, the Shiv Sena had shared powers with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) so it equally responsible in the scam that took place earlier. 

 

With confusion persisting of the actual dates of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections, soon after the state government increased the wards. It is to be seen who acquires power in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) as it is a very crucial civic body being the country’s richest civic body.
