BMC Elections 2022
With the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections 2022, around the corner, a new shift is noticed. In a recent breaking a Congress Corporator Sushma Rai, who is from Andheri is said to soon join the Shiv Sena. This was confirmed by herself that she would be joining hands with the Shiv Sena ahead of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections 2022.

She further stated that she was waiting her time due to the model code of conduct for MLC elections, but now will soon be joining the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). Former Corporator of Congress Sushma’s husband too had left the Congress Party and was with the Shiv Sena for some time. Her husband was close to many party leaders but had to leave due to some major issues.

“Yes, this is true that I have left the Congress party, and would be joining the Shiv Sena. Though I would not be telling the reason now,’ stated former Congress Corporator Sushma. Soon after this statement was released, the congress in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) took a jibe on her and stated that we were aware of this that she will follow her husband, but this thing should be made very clear that nothing is going to change in the Congress Party if also she leaves in the city of Mumbai.

“She should be resigning from the Tree Committee as she was the one selected from the Congress party in the city of Mumbai,” stated Ravi Raja of the Congress. As per some sources in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), many corporators in the Congress party are not happy with their performances in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) even though it is the country’s richest corporate.
