As dates for the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections
, likely to be scheduled next year approaches, it brings out the attack, counter attack, blaming, alleging and what not between the parties in the state of Maharashtra. In a recent attack, Maharashtra’s ruling party Shiv Sena, smacked its opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) alleging that the Central Agencies are being used against the government of Maharashtra.
The anguished Shiv Sena party ahead stated that from the Governor to the Leader of the opposition party in the State Assembly, is treating the Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government just like an enemy. Ahead giving examples of the Central Agencies, the Shiv Sena in its mouthpiece Saamana, stated that the “Central Government is controlling all the Central Agencies like Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and putting pressure on the government.
This shows the mind Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) carries, they now are infuriated as after extensive use of Centre tactics too, the Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government was not falling.” Further, the editorial stated that “Nowadays, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) main policy is creating tension in the state of Maharashtra against the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government, making allegation which does not have any base just for the sake of sensation and treating the government as an enemy.
If at all there is wrong work done by any minister or constitutional post, there are many agencies where the case can be registered like ACB, EOW and Police, but the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) only talk about the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).”
