BJP openly supports NCB officer Wankhede after Malik’s personal attack
Amid the allegations levelled against the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) zonal director Sameer Wankhede in the investigation of cruise drugs case of Actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, the Bharatiya Janata Party has openly shown its support to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officer Sameer Wankhede.

These allegations on the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) zonal ignited at much higher flames when the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Nawab Malik took on Twitter and posted the birth certificate of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officer Sameer Wankhede slamming and criticising him of taking bribe from Actor Shah Rukh Khan for his son Aryan Khan’s bail.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the city of Mumbai showed its support by submitting a memorandum to the state governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, asking him to intervene in the baseless allegations that have been levelled against the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) zonal officer Sameer Wankhede.

The memorandum was led out by Mumbai city unit’s chief Mangal Prabhat Lodha and stated that if the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Nawab Malik wants to give threats, then he should, first of all, resign from his post. “The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is an agency of the centre, and the role of centre here is to boost the morale of officials working in here, but instead of doing that, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Nawab Malik is continuously making baseless allegations against the officers of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and especially personal attacks on the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) zonal officer Sameer Wankhede, and the leader is also threatening the officer, which is causing a mental effect on him. That’s the reason why criminals are getting support, it is a matter of great concern, which should be looked upon,” stated the Memorandum handed to the Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari.
