Maharashtra BJP declares protest against MVA, demands resuming of local train services
Amid the constant talks going on for resuming local trains services for the general public, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in  Maharashtra declared a protest against the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government demanding resuming the local train services for the ones who have been vaccinated with both the doses. The protest will take place first on Friday morning by Praveen Darekar, who is the leader of Opposition in Council at Churchgate station.

Many hints were given earlier about the suburban train services resuming and allowing travel for those who have been administered with both the doses of the Covid 19 vaccine, but with the latest declaration by the government of Maharashtra to ease the estrictions had nowhere mentioned about the required respite. The Mumbai Congress Chief Bhai Jagtap also demanded the state government to resume the train service at least for the ones who have been administered with both the doses of COVID-19 vaccine.

The demand for resuming local train services by the general public and many train commuter’s associations has gone up as these local trains are the primary and the most convenient mode of transport in Mumbai and some areas. With the second wave in the state, the government of Maharashtra declared restrictions on travel from local trains fearing the spread of the Corona virus. The local train services currently are running for only those staff who are related to the essential services.
