In order to win over voters ahead of the forthcoming local body elections, the BJP plans to host a Garba Festival in the city. Hindu festivals would be celebrated in a huge way under Shinde Fadnavis's government, according to a recent BJP campaign. The BJP has consistently accused the MVA government of not granting permission post-covid for Hindu festivities, even though other religions did.
However, according to BJP MLA Mihir Kotecha, the Maharashtra Hindutva Government has officially taken office, and the Navratri Festival will be joyfully observed in the same manner as Dahi Handi and Ganapati. At a news conference organised by BJP leaders today in Mumbai, it was announced that Mumbai will celebrate the approaching Navaratri Festival in a huge fashion. The BJP has organised a Garba programme with renowned singer and composer Avdhoot Gupte to appeal to the Marathi voters in Mumbai.
After Dahihandi and Ganeshotsav, according to Mihir Kotecha, the Mumbai
BJP vigorously organised the Navratri festival. The festival, which is held at Shaheed Bhagatsinh Maidan in Abhudaya Nagar, Shivdi, is planned to be the largest celebration in Mumbai. The event will take place between September 30 and October 4. "We hope the administration will permit up to 12 in the previous two days."
Along with Avdhoot Gupte, the BJP has also included popular Marathi and Hindi singer Vaishali Samant in this concert. For this event, the BJP had chosen three locations: Abhyudaya Nagar, Mahalakshmi Race Course, and Jamboree Maidan, all of which are in Aditya Thackeray's Worli constituency. BJP ultimately decided to go with Abhudaya Nagar, nevertheless.
Everyone wants a huge Dandiya event in Mumbai, according to Chitra Wagh, state vice president of the BJP. To satisfy Mumbaikars' desires, we organised Avadhoot Gupte and Dandiya. We anticipate that the public will respond well to this BJP event.
The highlight of this gathering Avadhoot Gupte, a singer, expressed his happiness that the Marathi Dandiya is being held in Mumbai. I am quite grateful to BJP for allowing me to sing consecutively in this programme, which brings me great joy.
