The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena office in Mumbai's Ghatkopar is playing 'Hanuman Chalisa' through loudspeakers, according to ANI. "I am warning immediately, remove loudspeakers or else we will set loudspeakers in front of the mosque and play Hanuman Chalisa," MNS Chief Raj Thackeray threatened Wednesday.

Raj Thackeray, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) head, requested the state government on Saturday to remove loudspeakers from mosques and warned against "placing loudspeakers in front of mosques and playing Hanuman Chalisa." Thackeray stated to the party workers in this town, "I am not opposed to prayers; you are free to worship at home, but the government should decide whether or not to remove mosque loudspeakers.

Now I'm issuing a warning... Loudspeakers must be removed, or else loudspeakers will be placed in front of the mosque and Hanuman Chalisa will be played." The MNS leader demanded that the government remove the MPs' and MLAs' pensions and that their farmhouses be taken away if they must be provided dwellings. Thackeray urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to raid mosques in Mumbai's Muslim neighbourhoods, claiming that the residents are "Pakistani allies." "I implore Prime Minister Modi to raid the Madarasas in Muslim shanties. These shanties are home to Pakistani sympathisers. The Mumbai Police Department is aware of the situation... Our MLAs are utilizing them as a vote bank; many of them do not even have an Aadhar card, but the MLAs are getting them created "he stated
