Aaditya Thackeray, the environment minister, slammed the Raj Thackeray-led
Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) for incorrectly labelling Shiv Sena Bhavan as a mosque on Sunday. MNS workers in front of Sena Bhavan played Hanuman Chalisa on a loudspeaker on Sunday morning. "I don't pay importance to such stunts," Sena scion stated in response to the incident. We all know that Ram, the god, lives in our hearts."
He attacked the MNS while commenting on the mosque tag for the Sena office, saying, "I don't want to remark on a political party that is already finished." During his visit to check on the progress of the Delisle rail overbridge, Aaditya, a Mumbai Suburban Guardian Minister, made the politically harsh remarks. He also paid a visit to Xavier's property, where an underground tank is being built to collect sewage water in order to prevent flooding in the Hindmata region during the monsoon.
The Western Railway (WR) had withdrawn the barrier because the Delisle rail overbridge was in a poor state, according to the BMC. The BMC had spent money to create an 85-meter Delisle bridge to help with traffic flow, but the WR was in charge of the actual construction. The BMC is also constructing three roads that will eventually connect to the Delisle bridge.
BMC Additional Commissioner P Velrasu, who is also monitoring the project, accompanied him to the building site and took a look around. "I had pursued the progress of construction with the railway but no reason had been offered for the delay," Aaditya said of the project's completion delay. I also wrote a letter to the Minister of Railways but received no response. BMC officials had also met with railway authorities on the subject at various times. The railway now claims that construction will be completed by October 30."
He went on to say that the railway should publicly explain why it is having mechanical difficulties. "If the railway finishes the girder, the BMC will be able to do the rest of the work quickly," he said. The first girder will be installed within the next three months, while the second girder will be installed by August, according to WR authorities. Part of the bridge is being delivered to the WR officials from Kota, where it is being constructed.
"Considering the yearly water-logging situation in Hindmata during every monsoon, the
BMC has undertaken the tank's construction near Xavier's College," Aaditya remarked while discussing the construction of an underground water tank. The tank can hold approximately 2,87,00,000 litres of monsoon water."
