Actress Kamya Punjabi joins Mumbai Congress ahead of BMC elections 2022

In the latest joining ahead of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections 2022, the actress Kamya Punjabi has joined hands with Congress which is an ally in the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) coalition government consisting of Shiv Sena and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). The actress joined the Congress party in presence of Mumbai Congress President Bhai Jagtap. 

 

 

The actress on Wednesday joined the Congress Party at around 2 pm in the city of Mumbai. She is a television star who could mostly be seen in tv serials. These speculations were being made for a long time, with Congress member Aditya Goswami taking it on Twitter and stating that the TV Actress Kamya Panjabi is likely to join the Congress Party. Soon her joining was confirmed by the Congress in the city of Mumbai in their Twitter handle. 

 

“Indian Television Industry Actress Kamya Punjabi today in presence of Mumbai Congress President Bhai Jagtap will be joining the Congress Party, the Congress welcomes her in our party,” stated the Congress Party welcoming the Actress Kamya Punjabi. The Congress Party further congratulated the Actress on joining hands with the Congress spokesperson stating that the Actress has joined the grand old party as she was very inspired by the leadership of Sonia Gandhi Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Rahul Gandhi. 

 

This joining of the Actress becomes important ahead of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections 2022, as she is a renowned and popular star of the daily soaps and has also been in Bigg Boss 7. With her huge fan base, she becomes important for the congress to get set ready for the approaching elections.
