Following separate meetings with Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Bachchu Kadu and Ravi Rana agreed to a cease-fire, which was a great relief for the Shinde Fadnavis administration. On October 31, Kadu announced that he will make a significant announcement on November 1 and demanded that Rana provide proof that he had accepted a bribe. He had also warned to take a drastic move if Rana did not retract his accusations in a strong signal to the CM and the DCM.
Today, Fadnavis revealed something significant, saying, "Bachchu Kadu had gone to Guwahati on my phone call. I called him and informed him that we needed his help to create the government. As a result, it is incorrect to claim that Bachchu Kadu had struck any agreements. What about other people? But to level such charges on Bachchu Kadu is unjustified. As far as I'm aware, individuals who trusted Eknath Shinde enough to travel to Guwahati.
He acknowledged that Bachchu Kadu was the victim of false accusations made by Rana. Fadnavis claimed that Bachchu Kadu and Rana had both acknowledged making their comments out of rage but had since resolved to work toward progress. Both parties have also promised to refrain from taking any actions that could endanger the government. The matter is over because Mr. Rana expressed regret, the speaker said.
Aaditya Thackeray, a leader of the
Shiv Sena and a former minister, urged that an investigation be conducted into Ravi Rana's charges of bribery against Bachchu Kadu. Even though Ravi Rana and Bachchu Kadu have recanted their accusations, they are still quite serious. According to Bachchu Kadu, when people are at weddings, they refer to someone as "Khokewala ala" (one who has accepted money boxes). As a result, this situation is grave and needs to be looked at, he said.
