Worli gets a new command center from BMC

For the seamless implementation of the tasks initiated via way of means of the BMC, the civic frame is constructing a command centre at Worli's Love Grove pumping station. Being built at an anticipated fee of extra than Rs 20 crore, the command centre will function in the BMC's eyes in overseeing its one-of-a-kind tasks, starting from water delivery to novel tasks.

Prior to that, an arts and crafts center were planned to be built on the Worli site. "The center has a conference room, a conference hall, and an auditorium where engineers and project managers can interact and work. High-ranking officials, engineers, and consultants who oversee the project supervise each project from this center,” stated a BMC official.
The acquisition cost of this center is estimated at 12.26 rupees. However, the scope was expanded after a site visit and subsequent meetings with another city hall (project) P-Bellaras. Landscaping, horticulture, visual systems, engineering museums, music fountains, and an improved control room fire extinguishing system have been added to the concept, resulting in an increase in the cost of 9.29 chlores.
