Health Minister Rajesh Tope: Will consult the Covid 19 task force for entry of people in Maharashtra malls with one dose
In a recent announcement, the Health Minister of Maharashtra Rajesh Tope stated that the Government of Maharashtra will once consult the Covid 19 Task Force after the Diwali festival for allowing people with one dose of vaccination into malls and local trains.

He further discussed the reason behind this urge with the Covid 19 task force, stating that due to the long gap of 12-16 weeks between the two shots of the Covid 19 vaccination, people are facing several problems. Though the Health Minister stated that this decision will be taken by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.

Health Minister Rajesh Tope also pointed out the fact that the cases of Covid 19 in the state of Maharashtra were decreasing. In a series of unlocking downs the Maharashtra Government first in August permitted reopening of shopping malls and also extended time for opening up of restaurants till 10 pm with 50 percent capacity. While allowing these activities the government made it very clear that people entering into these places including the staff should be fully vaccinated.

Then soon after this decision demand for resumption of railways too started to begin after which the Chief Minister of Maharashtra decided to resume the services of local trains in the city of Mumbai from August 15, with only those passengers who have been vaccinated fully. And Chief Minister further stated that the gap between the last vaccination and the travel should be 15 days.

On Sunday, the city of Mumbai reported zero death due to Covid 19 virus for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020, as per the data released by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). The consecutiveness in the cases seeing a marginal dip can be a positive sign for resumption of all services in near future.
