H K Patil: Why the centre has not yet provided any relief package for Maharashtra?
Attacking the Centre, the All-India Congress Committee in charge of Maharashtra H K Patil on Friday stated that it is a shock that the Centre has not provided any financial help for the areas which have been affected by the flood. He stated that Congress  president Sonia Gandhi and party leader Rahul Gandhi will be addressing a rally that will be organised at Shivaji Park in Mumbai on 28th December on the foundation day of the Congress party.

“A rally will be taking place in Mumbai on December 28 where Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi will be addressing as it is the foundation day of the Congress party,” stated H K Patil. A flood that took place last month affected many districts of the state due to which the Congress Committee in charge H K Patil expressed his anger and shock on the centre for taking any actions and providing any relief to those districts.

“Any financial support has not been provided by the Union Government for the areas hit by the flood,” stated H K Patil. He further stated that at least an aerial survey could have been conducted by the Home Minister, where were these people when the state was going through such a difficult situation, we have sent help in various forms.”
