The war of words continues between the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Nawab Malik and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which becomes very important as Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections are around the corner and both parties are not ready to leave any stone unturned to be in the richest civic body. In a recent breaking, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Nawab Malik slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) stating that it allegedly had grabbed acres of land of a temple at the time of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was ruling the state of Maharashtra.

When asked about more details the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Malik stated that soon more details and the specific name will be out and will be exposed. The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader assured that the land parcel was snatched by a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader who was in a ministerial position in the former Chief Minister’s government and the land was later donated to a temple. Taking a jibe at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections 2022, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Nawab Malik on Thursday while interacting with the media stated that soon their party will be meeting the Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials in the city of Mumbai to ask for probe against the matters which were pending against some political leaders who are now in Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Without disclosing the names Malik stated that one of them is a Union Minister and the other a former state minister. He further clarified that these complaints were filed by them when they used to be in the Congress Party some time ago.
