The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections are due early next year in Mumbai. Ahead of the civic polls, political parties have turned the Vaccination centers into their campaigning drive. BMC has issued strict guidelines regarding the same, now the political banners or posters are banned at the centers. The Vaccination centers in Mumbai are looking more like political party offices with banners and posters.

Now, the BMC has given strict instructions that no political banners and posters will be allowed in any vaccination center. If anyone is caught doing the same, strict action will be taken against the Vaccination center. Apart from BMC and government Vaccination centers, many political leaders are conducting the Vaccination drive. According to BMC, all of this is done to create a good image for the upcoming civic polls.

The circular issued by BMC also stated that nobody from outside is allowed to get vaccinated in Mumbai. It added, that all the Vaccination centers should have proper arrangements of medical staff and ambulance. BMC has warned that if any of the above rules are violated, then a show-cause notice will be issued to the Vaccination center, and it will be de-recognized.
