BMC: Vaccination drive in civic, government run centres in Mumbai to resume from July 23
After the shortage of vaccines at the centres in the city of Mumbai, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Thursday declared that the administration of Covid 19 vaccination will start from July 23 at civic and government-run centres as new stock of vaccines is available.
 
It was stated by the civic body that the vaccination will be arriving on Wednesday night, they declared that there will not be vaccination in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and all the government-run centres on Thursday. The inoculation drive was at pause due to a shortage of vaccination doses since Tuesday by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in most of the vaccination centres which is run by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and the government. On Tuesday, vaccines were available only at 58 out of 309 such sites in the metropolis, it said.
 
The distribution all over the city will commence on Thursday stated the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and the fresh stock will have 50,000 of Covishield and 11,000 of Covaxin and they will be distributed across the city on Thursday. The corporation in a statement declared that “The citizens of the city of Mumbai are being informed regularly about the availability of vaccination, depending on the extent to vaccine stock received." On June 8 and 9, the municipal body paused the vaccination drive at the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and government-run centres due to the unavailability of vaccination doses.
