Mumbai: United Christian Front Convenor state they want to be in the system to change the system
United Christian Front (USF), started in January 2021 for the Christian Community to push their representation in politics, on Sunday held a gathering at Vile Parle Hotel. “40 people were present comprising from different streams who met to take the whole report of the past couple months, but the main purpose was to chart out a plan for the Christian Community to fight the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections which are approaching in 2022.

I presented a PowerPoint presentation where a highlight was meeting with Congress Minister. It has been asked by us for 10 tickets in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections,” stated UCF Convenor, Mumbai Advocate Alexander D’Souza. The Mumbai President of the Maharashtra Minority Christian Community Darry D’Souza stated that their community was never paid attention to for a very long period.

When he was told that nobody had stopped their community from getting into politics, he responded that now the intention is to get into politics and we have to be in a system for which it is important to make a structure like a building where every brick has an important role in the formation. We plan to be that brick now.
