Under 18 can visit malls as mall rules eased in Mumbai
Giving more relaxation to people in the city the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) announced permission for those below 18 years of age who are not vaccinated against the Covid 19 virus to enter malls in Mumbai from Sunday. But the people above the age of 18 years of age should complete both the doses of the Covid 19 vaccine and also should have a gap of 14 days after the vaccination for entering malls.

“People who have completed both the doses of the Covid 19 vaccine are permitted to enter the malls except the ones who are below the age of 18 years. For staffers, one dose is enough and as soon they have their second dose of vaccination, they must get it. The vaccination status will have to be displayed inside the premises,” stated Municipal Commissioner Iqbal Chahal.

As the cases declined, the Maha Vikas Aghadi government was being pressurised by the citizens to relax the curbs. After the recommendations by the Covid task force, the Maharashtra Government extended the restaurant timings but the time relaxations on local trains were announced the government was pressurised more for resuming more sectors.
