The total number of people vaccinated in Maharashtra has reached 15.18 crore

Maharashtra vaccinated 4,18,673 people in 9,816 sessions as part of its ongoing immunization push on February 11. According to government data, Maharashtra has vaccinated 15,18,00,279 persons as of 7 a.m. on February 12. Since the vaccination drive for this age group began on May 1, 4,84,71,256 people aged 18 to 44 years old have gotten their first vaccine dosage and 3,46,02,974 have received their second dose, according to state government data.
 
Similarly, the first vaccine dosage was given to 1,32,58,865 people over the age of 60, while the second dose was given to 1,03,97,202 people over the age of 60. The prophylactic dose was given to 7,38,441 of them. Maharashtra's State Health Department recorded 5,455 new coronavirus infections on Friday, down 700 from the day before.
 
Since Thursday evening, the infection has claimed 63 lives. During this time, however, 14,635 people were able to heal in the state. The number of cases has risen to 78,35,088, while the death toll has soared to 1,43,355. The total number of people found has risen to 76,26,868. In the state, there are now 60,902 active COVID-19 patients. On Friday, the state announced 76 new instances of the Omicron variant.
 
The city of Pune has 46 Omicron cases, Amravati has 12, Jalna has eight, Pune rural has four, Wardha has three, Sindhudurg and Ahmednagar each has one, and one patient is from another state. The state's coronavirus fatality rate dropped slightly from 1.83 percent to 1.82 percent. From 97.22 percent to 97.34 percent, the recovery rate has improved. In the state of California, 6,10,718 persons are under home isolation and 2,392 are in institutional quarantine.
