The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will construct seven 23-story towers to rehabilitate Project Affected People (PAP) who have been displaced by the ambitious Goregaon-Mulund Link Road (GMLR) project. The Mumbai local government will construct these seven structures along Lal Bahadur Shashtri (LBS) Marg, in the direction of Kanjurmarg, to house the approximately 800 families that have been identified as PAPs suitable for rehabilitation.

The Goregaon-Mulund Link Road (GMLR) is a fourth main link that connects the eastern and western suburbs and is being built in four sections. Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP) would be crossed by the 12.2-kilometer GMLR with twin tunnels. According to BMC officials, the project's construction will have an impact on families in Bhandup's Khindipada area and Goregaon's Film City.

"The rehabilitation of roughly 660 resident families, 51 commercial structures, and around 100 impoverished families are necessary for the construction of GMLR. Construction of seven ground plus 23-story buildings on the property at LBS Marg, Kanjur (West) in 'S' Ward (Bhandup, Kanjurmarg, and sections of Powai) is suggested for PAP rehabilitation "According to a BMC official. Work on an underpass across the Western Express Highway near Oberoi mall in Goregaon and a second-level flyover across the Eastern Express Highway at Airoli Junction will be completed in the fourth phase.
