Sringa, Mace, and Sword are potential suggestions from Shinde camp for its emblem

The Thackeray faction had a Plan B, but the Shinde camp had none. The Thackeray camp was surprised by the Election Commission's decision to freeze the Shiv Sena name and its emblem bow and arrow over the ongoing dispute in Maharashtra. Three names and three symbols will be given to the Election Commission on Monday in accordance with its interim decision, it was determined at the meeting of Ministers, MPs, legislators, and Senior Leaders, which was presided over by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

 

Three symbols, including the "Sringa (Tutari), Mace (Gada), and Sword (Talwar)," may be suggested by the Shinde camp. However, because Shinde was given the final say, no decision was made.Insiders from the Shinde camp stated that they anticipate the EC will grant the "bow and arrow emblem" and decide in their favour. "We believed we would be granted the bow and arrow based solely on merit. We weren't ready with the other name and emblem, so the temporary order from EC was a surprise.

According to Sheetal Mhatre, a representative for the Shinde camp, "We will submit our alternatives about name and emblem to EC on Monday." She also criticised the Thackeray camp for using emotion as a political trump card and claimed it was crying crocodile tears. We have a majority, and we are optimistic that we will obtain the bow and arrow symbol, she stated.

 

Some members of the Shinde camp stressed during the discussion that it should run in the Andheri East Assembly By-Election. At the meeting, the topic of fraudulent affidavits was also covered. "In the affidavits submitted by the Thackeray camp, there is a Rs 10 crore scam. We have requested the home department to look into the matter and take legal action against anyone connected to the acquisition of stamp paper and the filing of affidavits "Added she.

According to Mhatre, the CM claimed that the state government had made several decisions that the people themselves should have made. She added that the parliamentarians have been instructed by the Chief Minister to concentrate on advancing development projects in their individual areas.
