Soon after the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) passed six cases including the cruise drugs case from its Mumbai zonal unit which is headed by Sameer Wankhede, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Nawab Malik took on Twitter and stated that this is just the start, now to clean the system more work is to be done. “Sameer Wankhede has been removed from 5 cases which includes the cruise drugs case, it is not only 5 but there are more 26 cases which need to be investigated, the things have started now, there is a lot that has to be done in a manner to clean the system, and we are going to do that,” stated Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Nawab Malik.
The six cases which also include the cruise drugs case of Shahrukh Khan’s son being jailed has been transferred to the Delhi team of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), the federal agency further stated that it was an administrative decision that has taken place, this was done so as for better investigation.
