Shiv Sena compares Chief Minister’s son Tejas with cricket legend Vivian Richards

Speculations have started building up with new series of debates in the Maharashtra political circle after Chief Minister’s OSD and close confident Milind Narvekar wished Chief Minister’s younger son Tejas on the eve of his birthday comparing him with a cricket legend Vivian Richards. After the birthday wish speculations of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s younger son Tejas joining politics started pouring in ahead of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections 2022. Though the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena is silent on these speculations of Tejas joining active politics. 

 

Milind Narvekar issued a front-page advertisement in the Shiv Sena mouthpiece, wherein Tejas has been likened as the "Vivian Richards of Thackeray family." In the advertisement, Tejas is seen in beard with the picture of Richards in his popular cricket pose.

The Chief Minister’s OSD AND close confident Miliand Narvekar responding to these speculations stated that the advertisement which was printed in Saamna should not be linked with politics as it is an issue related to the family. "Aaditya Thackeray has the qualities like Sunil Gavaskar. He carries patience and when we see Tejas he is aggressive and decisive like Vivian Richards,” Narvekar stated.
