Rajesh Tope states the COVID-19 third wave has reached its apex in Maharashtra.

COVID-19 instances are decreasing in cities like Mumbai, Thane, Raigad, and Palghar, according to Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope, who stated on Saturday that the state's peak of COVID-19 third wave has passed. Yes, I believe the third wave's top has passed because COVID-19 instances are declining in areas such as Mumbai, Thane, Raigad, and Palghar, where the situation was the worst during the last COVID-19 pandemic wave.

In Maharashtra, there are currently 2,70,444 active COVID-19 cases. The total number of recoveries was 72,42,649. The total number of deaths was 1,42,461.
