Rahul Gandhi to kick off Congress campaign in October for BMC 2017

The Congress plans to project Rahul Gandhi as the face of their campaign for the upcoming civic body elections scheduled to take place sometime in February 2017.
Corruption prevalent in the ruling Sena-BJP corporation, will be the main issue which will be highlighted in the Congress’ campaign for the BMC Elections 2017. “The civic body is neck deep in corruption. We are planning to bring out a chargesheet revealing the scandals of the BMC,” said Nirupam. The civic body’s book of accounts have gone unaudited for ten years as well, he alleged.
