Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi who visited Mumbai on Friday said he is hopeful of winning BMC elections, according to reports.
 
The Congress Vice-President was in Mumbai to inaugurate a hall named after Murli Deora, the late Congress Chief in Mumbai.
 
Managing to downplay the in-house ruckus, the Gandhi scion said that unlike the RSS, the Congress believes in democracy.
 
He was quoted by Hindustan Times as saying, “Congress is complicated to understand and I have learnt this after working with state units since 2004. Congress believes in democracy and there is room for the anger, differences, fighting as we do not work like the RSS. But to sustain in the long term, the workers should join hands and take everybody along by keeping the differences aside.”
 
 
Gandhi also reportedly warned his party leaders of actions if matters goes overboard.
 
The Mumbai Congress have been plagued by in-house arguments ever since an article in their mouthpiece criticising Jawaharlal Nehru and Sonia Gandhi was published.
