As many Ganesh idols both public and domestic were taken to seashores lakes and rivers with a sense of emotions to bid farewell. With such a case in the city, five boys drowned in the sea at Versova Jetty, when they were immersing in the Ganesh idol. The two were rescued and the three are still missing, stated Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in a statement.
