BMC: Mumbai to notice light to moderate rain, Fishermen shouldn’t venture
Predictions for the rains in the city of Mumbai on Friday have been made by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), stating light to moderate rainfall in the city and most probably occasional intense rains across the state of Maharashtra.

The predictions were provided in a tweet from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the tweet further stated that there is a possibility of a high tide in the city of around 2.76 meters at around 8 pm after which a tide of 2.29 meters may strike at around 2 pm.

“Light to moderate rain in the city of Mumbai and suburbs likely to take place with occasional intense spells,” stated the tweet from Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). Ahead in the tweet the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) also presented the information of the rainfall that occurred in the last 24 hours. Which was noticed low than the past days, the reason being a depression in the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea.

The state of Maharashtra for the past many days is observing rainfall as part of the late monsoon. The cyclone ‘Gulab’ and ‘Shaheen’ have also played a major role in causing low-pressure areas. The DD in the northeast Arabian Sea of Gujrat coast has taken a bad turn and has turned toward a Cyclonic Storm ‘Shaheen’ and it is being speculated that the next 24 hours will be worth observing. The Fishermen were advised not to venture around the sea from 30th September to 2nd October 2021.
